Author Submission Guide
Welcome to The Dreamers’ Bookstore! Our target audience are families with children ages from birth to 5th grade. We seek high quality dream-inspiring books that promote protagonists of African descent being bold, creative, innovative, smart, and social emotionally grounded. Submit your book and we look forward to reading it!

1. Submission of Book
Authors interested in having their books considered for sale at our store must submit a copy of their book for review. You can mail a copy of your book to the following address:

Submissions should include a brief summary of the book and its relevance to our mission.
2. Review Process
Upon receiving the submission, we will thoroughly review the book to assess its alignment with our mission and dream categories.
We will evaluate the quality of the content, writing style, and overall suitability for our store.
3. Notification
Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process within a reasonable timeframe.
If the book aligns with our mission, we will request the wholesale price for further consideration.
4. Purchase Decision
Upon confirmation of alignment and receipt of wholesale price, we will make an initial purchase of 3 to 4 copies of the book for our store.
This initial purchase serves as a trial to gauge the book's appeal to our customers.
5. Sales Performance
If the initial copies sell well within a specified timeframe, we will contact the author to purchase additional copies.
Sales performance will be monitored, and decisions regarding further purchases will be made accordingly.
6. Communication
Clear and timely communication will be maintained throughout the process to keep authors informed of the status of their submissions and sales performance.

We seek books that align with our dream-centered approach, supporting young readers to envision a world of personal fulfillment and social consequence.
We proudly feature protagonists of African descent from across the globe, offering diverse perspectives and inspiring connections. Our curated collection reflects our commitment to celebrating and promoting children's literature that features characters of African descent.
8. Discretion
While we strive to support authors, we reserve the right to decline books that do not meet our quality standards or align with our mission.
9. Feedback
Authors will receive constructive feedback on their submissions, including reasons for acceptance or rejection, to aid in their publishing journey.
10. Acceptance of Terms
Submission of a book for consideration implies acceptance of the terms outlined in this policy.

Submission Questions
