YDBS Trains U-Pitt Football Players to Lead Dream Inspiring Read Alouds

Through our with the University of Pittsburgh's Office of Engagement and Community Affairs, The Young Dreamers’ Bookstore facilitated a Story-Time Training for facilitated a Story-Time Training for student-athletes on the football team.

This training prepared student-athletes to conduct engaging, fun-filled, and dream-inspiring read-aloud sessions. At the end of the training, each student-athlete selected a book to be read to school-age students in participating Pittsburgh Public schools.

It is always an honor to actively partner with my alma mater to inspire children and help them see reading as a tool to build their dreams!
