The Young Dreamers' Bookstore's Co-Founder Delivers Black History Month Keynote

On Thursday, February 28, 2024, our CEO and co-founder, Dr. Nosakhere Griffin-EL, Ph.D. spoke at a Black History Month assembly for students in kindergarten to 5th grade at Turtle Creek STEAM Academy in Woodland Hills School District.

During his speech, he highlighted STEAM Superheroes from Black History. Additionally, he left the students with the message that they too can make history by learning all they can today to accomplish their big dreams tomorrow.

Lastly, through the generous donation of an anonymous funder, he was able to donate books featuring Black STEAM Superheroes to the school’s library!
